Blue Diamond Solar Terms & Conditions

These terms & conditions:

Represent the entire agreement between the parties and no alterations or additions may be effected unless agreed to by both parties, reduced to writing and signed by you and a duly authorized representative of Blue Diamond Solar.

Are subject to change and you agree that any order placed shall be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time the order was placed.

Are final and binding and are not subject to any suspensive or resolutive condition.

Expressly exclude any conflicting conditions stipulated by you.

Apply to all employees, servants and agents of Blue Diamond Solar.


All quotes will remain valid for a period of 7 (seven) days from the date of issue. It is up to the client to confirm if the quotation is still valid.

Where applicable, prices are quoted on the ruling daily exchange rate and may increase as a result of adverse changes in the exchange rate. Until such time as we have received payment in full, we reserve the right to charge any fluctuations to the client’s account and the client undertakes to pay for such fluctuations on demand. It is the responsibility of the client to check that there have been no changes in the price prior to attending to payment.


It is your responsibility to determine whether the goods ordered are suitable for the purpose of intended use. Should you be uncertain as to the suitability of a product, please contact our offices for assistance prior to placing your order.

No order will be binding on Blue Diamond Solar until it has been accepted by management.

Payment Options & Terms

Full Payment for the product/s ordered is due prior to the delivery.

Blue Diamond Solar accepts the following payment methods:

  • (EFT) Electronic Funds Transfer
  • PayFast (additional fees apply)
  • Cash Deposits (additional fees apply)
  • Credit Card Payments via PayFast (additional fees apply)
  • Escrow Payments via 3rd Party (additional fees apply)
  • Forex Payments (additional fees apply)


Note: We do not accept cheque payments

Shipping Charges

Blue Diamond Solar takes no responsibility for courier fees. Extra fees will apply to your order depending on the courier charges. Blue Diamond Solar can make use of a local Courier. Clients can collect from Blue Diamond Solar at no extra cost.


Any delivery note or waybill (copy or original) signed by you or the person accepting delivery on your behalf shall be sufficient proof that delivery was made to you. Goods delivered must be checked in order to confirm that the goods delivered are in accordance with the order placed and are free from visible damage/defect. Any discrepancies and/or visible defects must be noted on the delivery note/waybill.


Price, specifications and terms are subject to change, you are therefore requested to peruse the prices, specifications and terms prior to placing an order. The purchase price will be the current price as appearing

If prior to delivery of the goods, there is an increase in the cost of the goods, or if any other taxes or duties are levied or any laws are promulgated which directly or indirectly increases the cost thereof to the company, the company shall be entitled to increase the price of the goods by an amount equal to such increased cost, by giving you reasonable notice thereof.

Cancellation of Orders

Requests for cancellation of an order, prior to delivery, must be submitted in writing to info@localhost

No refunds will, however, be furnished on deposits or payments in the event of cancellation for specially ordered or manufactured goods.

Processing Times Policy

You can expect an order to be processed within approximately two to five business days, provided the items are in stock and the payment has been verified, therefore, Blue Diamond Solar cannot guarantee same-day shipping or collection. Customers should also note that no orders will be processed on weekends and official public holidays.

Back Orders

Blue Diamond Solar will notify you should there be any delay in obtaining/delivering any goods ordered. The unavailable order will be placed on backorder, and the remainder of the order placed will be shipped. Please check our website for the back ordered items’ estimated time of arrival.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty includes all defects of design, components and manufacturing. The following will not be covered by the warranty:

  • Breaking the product seal (opening the casing) without proper approval
  • Transport damage
  • Incorrect installation or commissioning ( of programming)
  • Failure to observe the user manual, the installation guide, and the maintenance regulations
  • Unauthorized Modifications, changes, or attempted repairs
  • Incorrect use or inappropriate operation
  • Insufficient ventilation of the device
  • Failure to observe the applicable safety regulations
  • Force majeure (e.g. lightning, over-voltage, storm, fire)

Warranty Claim

If a device becomes defective during the agreed time factory warranty period and provided that it will not be impossible or unreasonable, the device will be repaired by the suppliers. (Proof of qualified installer).

Customers may be required to provide the original purchasing invoice. Blue Diamond Solar may refuse to service if customers failed to provide the conditions above. Please take note that Blue Diamond Solar does not do repairs. The item will be sent to the suppliers.

You may return goods in the following instances:

  • Within 7 (seven) days of the date of the receipt of the goods if the transaction fails
  • if the product is defective according to the manufactures warranty; or
  • Within 15 (fifteen) business days, if Blue Diamond Solar has wrongly supplied goods off a written order.


Notwithstanding the above, Blue Diamond Solar shall not be required to accept the return of any goods, unless defective within the warranty period, if at your direction the goods have been:

  • partially or entirely disassembled;
  • physically altered;
  • permanently installed, affixed or attached;
  • Joined or added to or blended or combined or embedded with other goods or property

Returns Procedure

Blue Diamond Solar will not accept the return of any product without prior authorization and confirmation.

Customers agree to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. You are required to bear the cost of shipping and insurance required for the return of the goods to Blue Diamond Solar. Blue Diamond Solar will not refund shipping charges unless an error in delivery was made by Blue Diamond Solar.

If any component of the returned product is missing, Blue Diamond Solar will refuse to accept the return or may impose additional charges against you for the replacement of the missing component.

Blue Diamond Solar may impose a reasonable fee should it be necessary to restore the gods in order to render it suitably fit for re-stocking.


No repairs will be handled by Blue Diamond Solar. All manufacturing defaults will be handled directly by the manufacturers or their appointed agents.

Blue Diamond Solar gives no time guarantee on when the item will be repaired.

Blue Diamond Solar shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature which you may suffer as a result of any unforeseen costs and/or delayed repairs done by manufacturers.

All costs for shipping to the manufacturer will be at the client’s expense except if the item is a manufacturing error.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, you agree that Blue Diamond Solar shall not be liable to you or any other person or entity whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage:

  • Caused by or arising from any fact or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Blue Diamond Solar;
  • Which is consequential or incidental loss or damage; and/or
  • Of whatever nature and howsoever arising from or in connection with the supply of goods.

Service Address and Notices

For all purposes under this agreement including giving of any notice, the payment of any amount, the service of any process and for all other purposes arising from this agreement you hereby choose the service address set out on the quotation for the order of goods.

Deposit Payment Terms & Conditions

Deposit Amount

To secure your order, a 10% deposit needs to be paid at the time of placing your order.

Alternatively, you may make the full payment as well.

Payment Method

Full Payment for the product/s ordered is due prior to the delivery.

The deposit must be paid upon placing your order to secure your order successfully.

The remainder of your payment must be paid within seven days of the arrival of your order. It is also the responsibility of the client to collect their order from Blue Diamond Solar within seven days of the arrival of stock.


The 10% deposit to secure your order is non-refundable unless:

  • The product supplied is not the product ordered
  • Blue Diamond Solar are not able to deliver the goods in the agreed upon time-frame

Deductions & Forfeiture

The deposit may be partially or entirely forfeited under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation or No-Show: If the client cancels their order or fails to collect their goods within seven days of the arrival of stock.
  • Breach of Terms & Conditions: If the client breaches the terms and conditions of the purchase, such as failing to pay the balance of the order within seven days of the arrival of stock.
  • Damage or Loss: If the client causes damage to the property, equipment, or resources associated with Blue Diamond Solar. Or if there is a loss or theft due to the actions of the client.
  • Order Changes: If the client requests substantial changes or modifications to a reserved order, such as reducing quantities, or changing dates.
  • Force Majeure Events: In situations where unforeseen and uncontrollable events occur, such as natural disasters, acts of war, or government actions, that make it impossible or impractical to fulfil the agreement, the deposit may be forfeited.


The 10% deposit that is paid upon the placement of your order will be deducted from the total payment due. The remaining 90% of the payment will be due within seven days of the arrival of the goods.


Deposits are not transferable to another party or order.


Once the 10% deposit has been paid, the client must send their proof of payment to info@localhost
